Default painting gauge pod

any suggestions on sources for paint to suit fibreglass gauge pod?

drilled it out this afternoon ready to paint but i cant find anything i am happy with

went to bunnings and supercheap looking for a flat black/dark grey (maybe textured?) paint without success. dont want any reflection so gloss is out of the question...

here is the pod as it stands now

there is a paint place on Balcatta Road, Balcatta. Heading east past bunnings its on the right hand side at the next set of lights. They are awesome, you can get some good idea's there.

I think you would have to seal it etc being fibreglass.

Are you trying to match the interior exactly?

just spray it with a primer first lite sand back then hit it with a mat colour of ur choice
that place in balcatta is really good.. then spray some clear to finish..

the pod is pre-primed and ready to paint

i actually just went and bought a dark grey gloss from bunnings and did a quick test paint (even though i just said i didnt want reflective finish )

its pretty crappy paint but the colour and finish looks ok.
still pondering

worst case you just have to sand it off and redo it
