so this is more out of curiousity than anything else

but exhibit a) is the badge on my 06 STI boot.
how come on other 06/07's, they have the other badge?

Is it this one?



The 'tuned by STI' models are usually WRX's with some extra performance features thrown on, except yours appears to be an actual STI... maybe someone fitted it after purchase?

It may of been debadged at some stage and then the new one put on at a later date?

maybe when it was rear ended and written off the dodgy habib that rebirthed it used a plain wrx boot & put the wrong sti badge on it?

Simon, that would be because I removed the original STI badge...in fact I think it's sitting in my study desk drawer.
The car had an "STI Performance" sticker instead....it was one of the SWRT spare ones for Petter Solberg's '06 WRC that I got from a friend in SWRT.

It's not actually an STi maybe it actually a Tuned By Habibi Kebab Shop (HKS for short)
