Hey guys.
On the way home last saturday a roo decided to cross my path, i swerved and it hit the side of my rear left door. Fkn thing survived.

On inspection I thought I did ok, but after I got a quote I was seriously surprised. They wanted $900 to repair the damage.

Anyone with any panel beating experience and would care to give an opinion I would really appreciate it. I feel like im getting ripped off!

$900 is a bit steep for such a small danage area, i had a whole quarter left pannel repaired and resprayed for $1400

Price is about right mate two weeks ago a truck driver at work hit my roof with a sling made a slight dent and took off a little bit of paint ( GRRRRRRRR so angry the cars thirteen years old and still in original paint and still looks great) Anywho got three quotes to fix it and the cheapest is $526 the truckie was not impressed

quote would involve a lot of labour probably, have to paint the door, side skirt and that bit of the wheel arch, as well as the fender above the wheel to blend it in

Try a few of the local panel beaters & you may be surprised in the difference in the pricing.
