Custom Spacer and Studs for RPF1s
Hey all,
So i've finally committed to buying some RPF1s (they should get here in a month or so) more specifically 18x9+35, been doing a lot of research and I need to get some spacers for the front to clear brembos and going to buy some ARP extended studs. From memory this is exactly what crawl3r did the same but he deleted his build thread he also had 18x9.5+38 http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/sale/552...-18x9-5-a.html Does anyone know where to get those custom made spacers (don't want ebay specials) can gauge the stud size I need from the spacer size as I don't want to run open ended lug nuts. Keen for some brembo gold or work blue Cheers! |

Crawler Aka Dan also had custom studs made up so that he could fit the spacers. I can ask him for details and from memory it was about 10mm spacers. Car looked shit hot but was rather impractical.
Jacob i think its just the nature of the rim, the styling makes it hard for them to clear most big brake set ups

Yeah that's why I got a 9 inch rim instead of the 9.5, that would be awesome if you could ask him where he got the spacer made or bought, I think I will measure everything up when it gets here. Going to roll the front fenders and see if I can get the rears trimmed down so I don't have to run heaps of camber. I've seen similar set ups done practically , will just need a bit of work which I'm happy to do using the Perth-WRX mobile app |

look into changing the wheel studs over to longer items if wheel spacers are required. they are cheap insurance to ensure that you have plenty of nut holding the wheels on. plus longer studs will also mean less lateral pressure on the studs.

Even the gtr's struggle depending on the size of the brakes
