which sub is the better since i am deciding to go with 2 12" subs, leaning more towards the punch but it would be good to hear some oppinions

which has more bass and which is better value for money?

Type r i reakon i used to run 3 of them very good subs

2nd vote for type R

im running all rockford gear in my boot inc 2 P2 12"s and very happy with them. each to there own really on brands, comes down to what u can get the better deal on

type r are good and so are the punch. I think it is personal choice on the sort of sound you are wanting. i have run the pumch in one of my previous cars and i found it to be abit tinny not real solid bass. I have only heard the type r in store which dosen't help as they are Normally not encased correctly. have you looked at Kicker???. i am runing 2 kicker compotiton VR 800w and they sound sweet to me real solid bass. i think i picked them up for $170 for a 12 without a box as i had one made. But listen to a few and see what you want

I would personally go over Rockford too. As scooby said its personal choice.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are all made in the same factory anyway!
