Hey Guys

Had the FMIC put in today and RMS left the black strip in the front bar at the top of the main opening (where the front mount goes) and anywho the said its part of the car and doesnt come off but i have seen car like Joes and Todes who dont have this strip anymore, so my question is can it just be cut out or pulled off or does it require a lot of work to come off?

if its the bumper support you are talking about, i think you are, it has four large bolts, 14-17mm something like that, two either side of you car, in the ends of the chasis rail, you'll have to take your bumper off to get to them though, but will come out, will take a bit of time

Yeah you have to cut it out, its actually part of the bumper moulded in, not bolted on.

Some shops cut it and some dont....Its halving the efficiency of your cooler, so get someone to cut it out for ya.

Is it gonna be easy enough to do yourself with something like a hacksaw?

Jigsaws hack the shizzit out of fibreglass and frays it something wicked apparently, is it actually one piece with the bumper or is it joined on?
