Default Removal of top centre dash storage compartment

Hi guys,

I haven't had a good go at this myself yet, but my dad is having a few probs removing the cover above the alarm keypad at the top centre of his dash. (where the aftermarket guage pods can be placed).

Are there any tricks to this? He's removed the main screws that are visible but it still didn't want to come off.

The car is a MY00 STI.

I've had a very quick look, and I can only see 2 screws, each is under a small rectangular plastic bit near the front (not far from the 2 aircon vents). Any more hints?

Theres two screws either side of the cup holder, do these have anything to do with it? Also any tricks to the security keypad?

(Apologies if this is simple, I haven't had a chance to have a go at it myself yet!)

You gotta pull it towards you REALLY hard to get it to come out once you take the screws off. You think you are gonna bust it but it will unclip, just needs some brute strength....
