Default accessing rear of head unit

Looking to access the back of my stereo to add and Aux plug for my Ipod.... The car is a MY03 WRX... Whats the best way to get to the back of the unit? Im guessing the front silver bit just pops off but i didnt want to try incase i break it.

Cheers

pop out the cup holder tray, there should be a black screw on the right hand side, this will take out the ventilation unit, then you should be able to take the stereo surround off from there
