Bloody Fuc&#$ pricks. Exactly the same dent and scratches in exactly the same place on exactly the same colour car as I had on mine. Looks like you have been swiped be some incompetant trying to park if you ask me.

I Use Pieros Panel and Paint in North Perth. Top quality work. You would be looking at $100-$300 to fix scratches and Stuart from Dentcraft can extract the dent if its not too deep for $130ish.

On another point. Do your alloy pedals have rubber nipples sticking through them like the MY01+ WRX/STi's ? From the look of your photos, yours do not. If the cops ever see them when they pull you over it will be yellow sticker time for sure.

Default Ouch!!!

Sorry to drag up an old thread. I scratched my car yesterday and want to get a few quotes this weekend.

Being new to town, I do not have many friends that have dealt with panel beaters. I have owned my car for the last 2.5 years in Darwin and managed only to scratch the bottom of my front bumper, one rim and 2-3 shopping centre dents plus a couple of scratches that i buffed out.

In the month that I have been in Perth I have numerous new scratches, some that will require a respray, 4 new shopping centre dents and I managed to scratch my car yesterday morning reversing into my parking spot at work.

Has anyone dealt with any panel beaters recently or the ones listed in this thread? Were you very happy with the work?

I am not worried about price as long as it is done right the first time.

My car is very dirty at the moment as I am living in a hotel and the car is parked on the street till I can move into the rental place later this month. Should I wash it before I take it to the panel beaters for a quote?

Cheers
Michael

yeah wash it before you take it, however, how bad is the scratch? you can probably buff it out or get pay a detailer to detail your car and get minor scratches out

Im picking my car up from AEM Industries panel beaters/painters tomorrow.
Iv seen some of their work, its top notch, speak to Phil Foster there, top guy. He also does cash jobs - brings the price down considerably.
they are off hector st in ossie park

Unfortunately the scratch I put on the car is quite deep and across the panel gap between the rear door and rear gaurd. The panels are straight so thats a bonus I guess. I'm not to worried about the minor scratches. I can buff them out myself as soon as I get my stuff coming down from Darwin. There are a few other ones I will get them to have a look at while I am there.

I'll try AEM Industries tomorrow. Thanks Waxdass

Piero's are awesome. They do all of our insurance work for our company vehicles, and they are spot on.

If you want the BEST paint though, BBK for the win.

I need some panel work done on my 03 Rex and I jumped onto the forums to have a look. It seems that most places that are recommended by one person are written off by another person. Does anyone know of a top notch panel shop that everyone can agree is really good?

Nick
