225 will need guards mate, i had those on the wagon, and they were 8's i believe.

I have 225's on 8'' rims on my gc8 with rolled guards and about -2 degrees of camber all around. I don't get any rubbing at all and thats with GD control arms which i believe push the wheels out even more.

225/35R18 on 18x7.5 +42 is what I'm running. I wouldn't go anything that pokes out more.

I have an extra inch, but 2mm less offset... should be close.

This is something a german Subaru-Mate came up with. Will solve all your problems:
SUBARU Radkonfigurator [Impreza]
For the non-german speaking people:
GT=GC8 (The WRX was called GT until the new age Impreza in germany)
Vorne=front
Hinten=rear
Reifen=tire
Felge=rim
ET (Einpresstiefe)=offset
Spurplatte=wheelspacer
Sturz=camber
Abrollumfang=tire periphery


This pleases me greatly!

Attached pic is shit - it pretty much says it wont touch ... rolling guards gives a little more room. May need to go stiff suspension with a tiny bit of camber I guess.
