where would I be able to get RAYS rims at a good price? Can you get them in aust or is it better to look at sourcing from the US etc?

Would a saving be made buying if on holidays in Japan?

Ideas?

pete have a look at japan parts.com.. they have really cheap shipping rates..

Also buying from the U.S sometimes works out cheaper also due to the large volumes or rims they get in..

Not sure what set your after, but just for comparisons sake, you can get a set of 18x8 CE28N's from Perfectrun for $550/wheel. So $2200 + about $500 or so in freight and taxes.

Hows that compare to other places youve looked?

to the gurus

a mate from the uk has decided to come back to oz and he has bought his car back. the problem is that he is having trouble buying rims. something about the 5 stud pattern being closer than the norm. he has shopped around but no one can (or want) to help him. the car is a mercedes CDI220.

can someone point us in the correct direction. cheers.

The wheels I like were $610AUS each delivered. (18 x 8.5)

CE28N's are just too common now. Nice wheel but I wouldnt get them..just because everyone has them!!

Huy, secret sqirrel!!! can't tell ya! hehe...got to decide if I really want to spend the money when I dont "need" wheels or tires...will more than likely wait till my current tires are flogged then get some 18's

Have you had a look on perfectrun for the ones you want though? I know i keep blowing the Perfectrun horn, but they do always seem to be cheaper than anywhere else.
