Hey ppl,

Been looking at some new rims of late and have taken a liking to these.....

http://www.tempetyres.com.au/product...=&part_no=1053
(Or something similar anyway, simple design with abit of dish)

Now even thou they dont list it there they do sizes of 17x7, 18x7.5, 19x8 all with a fitment of 5x100.

Think they would have any problem fitting to a 2006 STI with plans to lower it a tiny bit just to fill up the wheel archs? Will they clear the calipers? Think theyll scuff?

Also my understanding would be wider tyres would give you more traction but is there a downside to having wider tyres?

Thanks all.

site says they do the rims in 114.3 pcd so thats fine, you need offset though to really know if they will clear brembos or not.

Yeah, im looking at the Lenso webpage and I cant seem to find the offset.

They've got it written like this....

Size1770 4H 5H PCD 100-114.3 ET +25 +42 COLOUR BKF HS

Is the ET the offset?

Default rims

Hey guys

Just looking for advice on what are the widest rims that can be fitted on a 02 hatch.

I am undecided wether to go for bling or racer look yet but want to find out what fits first as have not had much experience with wrx's before.

Want something wide to try and fatten up the rear end as cant find any skirts for the back as yet.

Cheers Nathan
