Yep i reckon so too re colour coding. I know just the man for the job

Wondering whether or not to put the stickers on the rims or not :S Kinda thinking not (Shitloads of work stickers that came with the rims)

Also had a minor face-off with the woman at a tyre store who thought that then hub centric rings were spacers, and just about refused to put them on?

First time i've really seen/heard of them but they serve an important purpose apparently. Makes sense though when you think about it.

Since I'm having trouble finding white rims, I've been looking at some gold Ultrex rims instead. May still get them powder-coated white when I grow tired of the colour, but I am leaning towards these as opposed to a gun-metal or black. I think for the darker colours to work, you need the flared guards of an STI or MY11 to make it look mean, and they've got to match the tint and/or satin finish of various external trims to look the business. ie. a bit hit and miss.

A quick PhotoChop, including dumpage, chrome delete and red tail light tint:

As in no-one having 8 inch wide white rims in stock locally. Too impatient to wait as I have to get new tires on ASAP. I also want to be able to put a rim or two next to my car and see how it looks.

I don't mind gun-metal, but I still find myself going back to the gold...

Haha yeah i know!! Will do when i get a sec - Neil from Unique Automotive is who i'll get to do it, but would probably get the front and rear bar resprayed at the same time.

Looking at doing the de-wing this week too - Dont spose you can get white rubber grommets for the boot?

Hanging out to see how it compares from going to stock struts to HSD's too.
