How bad was the alignment before? How much camber did they dial in?

I think any amount of poke / wheels sticking out of the guards is considered illegal, that being sad it's pretty much a gamble game of getting a good cop or bad if your going to keep it that way. I've been running XXR 527's for 6months now and they poke like shit but you'd be surprised no cop attention yet *touch wood* despite having them drive behind me etc just amount of luck I guess but hey thats my 2cents.

What do people think of the Konig Torch rims, (pretty much cast copies of the Gram Lights 57xtreme)
I really love those wheels but not too keen on forking out almost 2k for them D:

was thinking these in 18x9+35 for my sti
Then some nice 255/35/18s on them
Anyone know roughly how they would sit?

How have you sealed rims to prevent brake dust baking in and promote easy cleaning of the rims?

I know that you can get sealers, polishes, waxes, etc, what have you found to do a good job?

Thanks!

Default Cleaning Wheels.

STEP BY STEP PROTECTION: AERO PERFORMER - Speedhunters

Looks promising...

If I ever get a set coloured rims I would be considering this, but for now I will just have gunmetal wheels and hide the dust

Looks good but the thin spokes means you need good brakes to complete the look. You have an STI so that won't be a problem.

That aggressive an offset will rub. You will run into troubles, especially with the rear guard "lip". Probably have to have a reasonable amount of height on the suspension, stiffer suspension, stretched tyres, heaps of camber, guard, work, or any combination of those things.

I ran a 17x9 +48 with 245 tyres and they barely fit. Had to give up the "slammed" look and had about 1.5 deg camber in the back.

Yeah i thought they were pretty aggressive and i think they will look really good
I don't however want to have my car slammed and too impractical
I was thinking either 245 tyres or 255 with those rims and will get some fully adjustable coilovers.
The rear fender is a problem the one i have isn't able to be rolled unfortunately
What do you think would be the max offset I could run without "slamming" my car as i would like it low with a little camber.

From my rims atm 17x8+55 to the 18x9+35
1010TIRES.COM - Wheel Offset Calculator says that my inner clearance will be 7mm more (not of my concern) but it will extend 33mm more and looking at the gap with my rims atm I really don't have a whole lot of room to play with i'd say like 25 max before i have to start some camber.

If you a brave you can use a heatgun/small torch and a rubber mallet and gently bash the inner guards outwards until your desired results
I did this with mine with good success and no more tyre side wall slashing from the guards lol
You can hardly notice that its been bashed out lol
