if ur gonna run just the 1 sub... then any 4 channel amp will be suitable, say kicker, alpine, pioneer or what ever. If you plan on running 2 subs, than a mono block will be your best bet... again ne of the above brands off a decent range.
however i recommend running your speakers off an amp aswell to get the clarity and power that they are meant to be run at, but i also suggest not using subs and 6x9's coz you get bass cancellation, which will just sound shithouse. Go in and speak to someone at your local car audio shop, they will be happy to offer you advise. |

If you are going specifically for BASS, use 6" speakers in ur parcel tray as 6x9's arnt so effective. I power my Speakers off my head unit because i sold my cadence amp to my brother (which btw are a very good brand, aparently worlds loudest car is powered by cadence) so i only got a 240w crossfire 2 channel that i power my 10" kicker with.
Good luck |
