yer i was lookin at the kerb out the front of my house.. its nice and high (in my profession it would be known as non mountable 0.15m high )

Well, i have the bolts and everything already... i might go try and find a drill bit at bunnings today and give it a go tonight.. at least its the underside of my car so if i fuck it up, no one will be able to tell

Chrus... your offer last night on the phone... might take u up on that, but like i said its my dad's birthday tonight but if i leave there early enuf can i come past? sms me d00d.

Kym, I ended up just clamping mine with some vice grips in the right place, using which holes etc lined up and then put about 10 x 1/8" tek screws in. Was fine till I hit some truck tyre on the freeway smashed it to smitherrens, but it did not do too much damage to the underside of the bumper, just pulled the screws out.

Would have been heaps easier doing it the way Jan and I did mine last night, just took the front bumper off and did it from there, so much quicker thatn playing around with the underside

PS, how did you do it? And sorry i couldnt swing by

car on kerb.. getting down was a mission... had to put bricks on next to the kerb and drive down on them first because the kerb was too high.
