Default Painting Your Skirts

Alot of people want to paint their skirts for there car.
I have painted them myself and it wasnt that hard, or expensive.
I got my paint from Auto One in Cannington, along with a couple of other things you will need.
What you need:
- Approx 2 spray cans, colour coded, find under bonnet
- Flexi Prime (spray can)
- Wax and Grease remover
- Clear top coat (spray can)
- Sand paper, rough and smooth wet and dry
This came to about $70 roughly.
Steps I took:
1. Sanded skirts with rough sand paper, while being wet.
2. Gave a clean to get any dirt etc off.
3. Cleaned with wax and grease remover.
4. Sprayed with flexi prime.
5. Cleaned again with wax and grease remover.
6. Sprayed 2nd coat of flexi prime.
7. Cleaned with wax and grease remover.
8. Spraed with colour, when dry sand back with smooth sand paper, then cleaned with wax and grease remover.
Do this 3 times
9. Sprayed with clear top coat, when dry sand back with smooth sand paper, then cleaned with wax and grease remover.
Do this 2-3 times.
Hopefully this is enough info.
Here is a pic of the outcome of my skirts.

Any other queiries PM me
Cheers

When i did my skirts i had them off, it made the job easier, and also stopped the risk of getting paint on the car

I asked in another thread but no one replied - would this same method be ok to paint spoilers, bonnet scoops etc? or is professional 2 pack better for those?
