Hai, genki desu.

I'm in no rush, as I need to sort out some minor things with the SST tuning this week. Good pricing, will get back to you soon.

We now keep the HKS Mechanical Boost Meter permanently in stock as it is a full metal unit and is very accurate.

HKS EVC-S fitted to 1JZ GTE Soarer.

I will also take this opportunity to clear the cobwebs in this forum and give a concise approach to HKS EVC systems:

The EVC has it's own boost control system whereby a boost cut is established and settings for weather/intake air temp corrections are done by adjusting a percentage boost drop once the max boost limit is reached. In this way, you can hold high boost longer but not have a boost cut once the max boost is reached.

A lot of customers have approached me and asked why does the boost go over for instance 1.3 bar momentarily when I have set it at 1.3bar. The HKS EVC pulls back that very split second the 1.3 bar is exceeded and allows the car to run smoothly with no boost/fuel cut that will affect the driveability of the vehicle unlike the factory ecu.

Once again, pretty neat engineering from HKS.

Response and duty cycle can be adjusted on the HKS EVC.

Response allows you to set how quick the turbo spools up, while the boost solenoid duty cycle allows you to set the target boost you want.

Pics of today's install below on the Twin-turbo 1JZ-GTE establishes HKS versatality in boost control:

Below is the HKS SST Cooler Kit fitted recently to a P.WRX member's MY12 EVO X.

The Factory SST pulls the ecu into safety mode once the SST oil temp reaches 140 degC. This HKS SST Cooler is a must for track work.

Please note that the EVOX SST system underwent minor changes in 2010 and there are major differences in fitment between the early and late models.

Some pics of the install:

Here's where the difference is between the late model EVO Xs and the early ones. Note this is not the only difference as the SST pump and HKS pumps must be re-plumbed for proper cooling. I will provide detailed info to HKS dealers only:

Old HKS instructions that apply to the earlier models. (Note this is not the only difference):

Always use Genuine Mitsubishi SST Oil. You will need 7.5L for this conversion:
