Enkei RPF1 is a great choice! We can get them but there is a 4-6week wait on the Japanese side atm.

17x9 +45 - avail silver or matt black.

Have sent an enquiry to Japan as to whether 17x9 +45 will clear the Brembos regardless.

Prices on Perfectrun etc do not include freight. We will beat the pricing.

Mao....Can you do Enkei?

Cheers.

Hey Mao,

Enkei reckon no 17 inch RPF1's will fit over Brembos without wheel spacers. I'm keen to hear if you get the same info I did from Enkei. If that is the case I may have to look at something else as I would like to use 17's, I've been told by a few people they are the way to go for the local sprint series and hill climbs etc.

Cheers

Info I got so far is that 17x8 +45 will clear the brembos, but were unsure bout the 17x9. So will update regardless.

The offset of the wheel is one factor, but also low/high disk is another factor which enkei is looking at with regards to caliper clearance for the 17x9.
Low disk provides a larger lip/dish depth in the wheel with less caliper clearance whereas a higher disk factotlr provides more caliper clearance with less lip/dish depth.

I have also checked 17" in the RAYS Gramlights and the current series only carry 17x9 with offset +38.

I will certainly be stocking the Enkei RPF1s if they do clear the brembos. Will update once Japan replies.

Cheers.

Keep us posted please Mao. Which Rays wheel do you mean there are 16 different models in the gramlights series on their site?

Cheers.

Just got a reply from Japan, 17x9 +45 will hit the Brembos. For the Enkei RPF1 in 17x9, only +35 will clr the brembos or 17x8 +45 which is off your desired wheel width anyway. Will ask if they do anything closer to +45.

Most of the gramlights are +38 for 17x9s.

Simon are your Rotas Wrx PCD or Sti 5x114.3? You are the closest numbers I can get for a test fit.

Failing that I am hoping Mao will have time to chuck my car on the hoist tomorrow morning for a test fit of the Drift6 rims but they have no rubber on them and wont be as easy to guesstimate scrubbing issues.

Anyone else have 17x9 +35 with rubber on it for a test fit or first hand knowledge of this combo on a Betty Sti?

Cheers
