Last went in 2002, definitely going next year!!

Last time I got tickets through Australian Sports Tours who can also arrange cheap to pricey accomodation (arrange your own flights through Virgin Blue/Tiger Airways etc ). In '02 we stayed in St Kilda about 1.5kms from Albert Park, 1km from trains and the guy who run the place gave me a huge Ferrari flag which I wore as a cape for most of the week haha. Woke up to the sound of race cars, knew it was time to start walking to the track. 4 days of absolute bliss.

Funniest part was the sign they had for ear plugs: Here today? Hear tomorrow! LOL For anyone that hasn't been to a live race then this is a must, especially as poxy Australian governments have now fucked up another fantastic international event (remember how the QLD government cocked it and we used to have an Indy event @ Surfers Paradise?)

As you can see the cheapest (inc. accomodation but not flights starts at just under $1000) and for reserved grandstand tickets add the grandstand you choose on top. Flights as always are best booked and payed for well in advance so you don't get completely burned.

I watched from the Fangio stand opposite Pit 15/16 BAR Honda and it was freakin awesome but we said next time we go back we'd like to get into the Prost stand as then we could see the cars flying into the last 2 turns and piss bolting up the main straight.

Would love to go to the f1 in melb next year, i think its going to be the most competitive season yet! but money and time are factors which i just dont have atm.

Went to the monaco GP this year which was fricken awesome, was my first time at a GP and definately NOT my last.

Can get enough of those cars going past.
