I've been in the market for an 02-05 EJ207 short block for a while now, and finally bought one yesterday. With Subaru's stocktake on at the moment, and end of financial year "clean outs" happening, 207's and others can be picked up quite cheap at the moment. I bought mine for $2450 +tax, that's less than $2700, and they're delivering it free to the workshop of my choice. If you're in the market for one, now seems to be a great time to buy.

Still tossing up the idea of 22b front guards, and pumped/flared rear (being a wagon). Benson's been great to work with on the cosmetic side of things too!
I'm going to miss it tho, it's not going to happen over night, i can imagine she's going to be off the road for a good couple of months (read 6+)
