Hey i would imagine the standard flywheel weighs in at around 10kgs. I am also looking at getting a lighter flywheel but looking for something a little heavier. Does anyone have an idea of where you can get 6kg flywheels from? I have yet to see one on sale.

How much of a bastard would a 4.3 kg one be???

Never driven with a lightened flywheel.

I dont really care about the noise myself. I got plenty of that already.

more concerned with daily driveability. My car is already a bit of a pig to launch with the crappy 2L engine and RS heads. Its got nothing down low.

So a 2.5 with the Avecs ( think thats right for the valve timing stuff ) and other toys probably isn't going to worry to much about it???

You won't have any problems with a flywheel this light on a 2.5L. Works well.
