I actually find the Yank rooms the easiest even with the lag, the Yanks are fukn shite at the game. The Aussie rooms I find the hardest even with 4 bars.

Yeah most times i do but it also depends on the time of day.
Plus im usually playing online team with 2 mates, so its hard for a room to join a aussie based room.
Generally there is 3 of us ( [13BT]jonny sik rx3 , [13BT]Tones R100 and myself) so when you join a game using that room....it finds that matchup crap and you guessed it....americans

I've added about 5 aussies on COD4 (PS3). And i have about 3-4 ppl from Pdiddy as friends too but haven't played with them yet as my bandwith is down to 64kb for another few days.

Then it's GTA4 so I wont see you any time soon anyway

Played online the other night and was in a match with Booga...had his pwrx clan tag

What do you guys mean when you say pinging in the game and also how do you choose whether you enter an american or aussie room, i thought you just played against people from everywhere...

Your 'ping' is basically your connection speed. When you start your online game and press select(back) button to bring up whos on your team etc...it will have a little bar graph to the right of each player (red = 1 bar, 2bar= yellow, 3bar= light green, 4bar= dark green) ... This is your connection speed and depends on where the host is located or majority of the players are.
When your ping is in the red, you will have what is known as BAD LAG. Where your actions are delayed (basically...you shoot someone 12 times and still nothing happens, then they shoot you once and you die0 or your character jumps all over the screen.

There arent exactly "aussie or american" rooms...but more like a room full of them...if that makes sence. So if you end up in a room full of aussies...then your gaming actions will be pretty acurate.......end up in a room full of americans and your gaming actions will be delayed etc.

That pinging explains a lot then....all along i thought i was a crap shot but it was because i was playing against americans

Haha yeah can be VERY fustrating...nothing like unloading a clip only for them to run up and stab you..or that perfect sniper shot and after shooting at their head 4 times they turn around and snipe you back

Yeh, basically on your screen it looks like your shooting him. But when you watch the kill replay from his perspective, it'll show you shooting a metre or so behind him. Makes sniping essentially useless..
