Default noisy PC

My PC is pretty noisy. Nothing broken, it's always been pretty noisy. I'm guessing it's the CPU. power supply fans, can you buy quiet replacement fans? Or a ultra quiet power suppkly?

Blow the dust and shit out of the fans. Well actually, blow the dust out of the whole thing. It'll quiet it down heaps. You can buy a can of compressed air from Dick Smiths for not too much and it'll do the job a few times.

or disconect all the fans except for power supply and run a pedestrial fan pointing directly at the side of the case...its more quieter and work better imo

Is it the cpu fan that makes the most noise, or the power supply?

Sometimes it's the fan in the power supply
