Pfft, I've been running the Windows 7 beta as my primary home PC for ages. That's just the standard get out of jail card since it still is test software.

Knowing the idiots out there, someone will install it and it will crash and they will blame MS for something. Much like the idiots who installed FW3.0 on their iPhones and then complained they couldn't activate or use them properly.

been running RC of Windows 7 for the last two weeks (64bit version). have found it pretty good, no crashes as such. runs better than vista ultimate 64 bit with service pack 2.

have a read how it will expire hehe

Is this version 7100?

As it has been available for 4 weeks from the torrents.

Looks like Microsoft has decided to let the public use the RC.

Been running RC since it was made available on MSDN. so much better than vista!!

mine shouldnt expire to soon, i have a msdn license for it

I think that comment was more how from March next year it will shut the computer down every 2 hours up till June where it will stop working.

Anyone who was downloaded this version, can you confirm the Build number for me please.

eg.. Build 7100 (6.1)

Just want to make sure its the same version as i already have so I don't waste some quota on it.
