L4d is fantastic, a truley well made game. No other game has come close to capturing the feel of l4d.... its probably a little short lived though. Unless you get into the vs mode.

Besides being totally different games... The average critic score for l4d is 89% so you think prototype will score a 44,500,000% average? Time will tell, but I doubt it will even get 88%.

You've seen the trailer/in-game on YouTube for Prototype i take it? It's looks mental. I'm not one to pre-order games, but i think i might have to for that one.

Yeah I've seen it, but I've fallen for hype too many times before to get too excited about anything a pr company puts out.

In fact I've noticed a games quality at release is inversely proportional to how much they spend on their hype.

Seems like if they know it will suck they pump more money into the hype, and if they know its going to rock they don't, knowing the game will sell on its own steam.
