I didn't actually have the biggest problem with the games economy. It should be hard to get a f1 car or a large collection of super cars. People are just pissed off because they waste money on pointless cars and don't race enough. But I'm pretty happy with my VIP bonuses.

I had a crack at your class C Bathurst time Duke, you're too fast for me still! I think I managed a 2:31 in my 2011 STI Sedan.. What did you set it in? I haven't messed around with Camber/Tow/gear ratios yet, but I reckon I might get a couple of seconds a lap off and get into the 2:20's haha!

Um not even sure, I know my b class time isn't half bad in ve, b class is my favourite class.

Getting your build right is the most important thing, adjustable parts like diffs and handling parts that way you can adjust your tune to suit your driving style.

What assists are your running as well ?

Shame there is no team/group/club mode like in Forza 4, and you have to add everyone manually as oppose to everyone joining a club.

Would be keen to do an A or S class series using GTR 93 on Bathhurst.

Err just ABS, turned off everything else for the moment. I find for the most part you are always slightly faster than me, can't seem to crack your times! Gives me something to aim for, that's for sure!

If you can learn no abs there's time there as well. Have you switched the clutch to the A button makes manual with clutch a lot easier

Probably doesn't help 95% of the time I play i've sunk about half a bottle of bourbon!
Not many tunes available in the store yet which are full setup for bathurst either so you don't need to spend hours customising your own.

I play with no ABS, manual with clutch, traction control only on crazy shit, like when you drop 600hp into a GT86.

so much time to be had from manual, its X and B but you can change the clutch to A so you can just press gear up/down at the same time as the clutch and flat shift ftw. The options should be in your forza 5 profile thing on the forza homescreen.

Gave manual a shot and my times seem to have improved. Still not 100% sure on using the clutch, will need to work on it.
