Default Suggestions for wireless modem router

So, I'm sick of my bob lite
Wireless coverage is rubbish and I don't really have a big place
Walls might be old school bricks
Can't get a good coverage at all

Looking at getting a replacement t unit
What's good, netgear, belkin?

I know there's a new generation of wireless as well

Advise would appreciated

Anything Billion. Have used two and no problems with either. Ultra reliable.
This is my current router - http://au.billion.com/products/voip/bipac7800vdox.html

I'm using a Netgear WN3000RP range extender. Signal is better than the base router. Could be an option for you.

I was using a Netgear D6300 which was apparently the bees knees, however it was the biggest piece of shit I've ever used. Ended up going to an ASUS modem, and have never been happier.

I rang up our ISP and complained and they sent a newer one out for free since we are still under contract. This is Optus though but it's worth a shot

What do you run off it & what do you need to run out of decent wifi range?

Best one I've had is the Apple Airport Extreme..

It runs 2 channels simultaneously, so everything connects without a hitch at full speed.

I haven't turned it off in over a year and never had a drama...that's got to be a good sign

The AirPort Extreme is only a router, OP is after modem/router by the looks of it.
