Fuel light came on going past a caltex with 98 yesterday so thought what the hell, give it a go.

I don't think there is any differance but it does seem to go good. Think probably I'm just giving it a bit more welly trying to find a differance.

Anyone else got an opinion yet.

Trying to decide weather to get a starcard out of the lease company.

Im just going to stick to BP as its around the corner and not worth the effort driving around to save 5c!

Wish they would hurry up and get it down here in Albany. Need some competition to bring BP's prices down. There is only 1 place in albany that sells 98.

The fuel companies all agree over east the crap stuff is all shared with their own additives but all insist that the 98 is their own.

Guess we will find out next time bp run out if caltex and peak run out to.

Not planing to but has anyone tried peak98????

apparently peak ship theirs in from singapore or atleast thats the rumour. I believe theyre all one and the same.

Lets just hope the price comes down now that we actually have a choice.

I understand that the Peak one is actually Mobil Synergy shipped from Singapore.

And on pricing it will be interesting to see if the 92/98 price differential decreases with competition. Also BTW stay clear of the BP on the corner of Parry Ave and Wheatley Drive in Bullcreek...they charge 11c a litre for 98 over 92 unleaded!
