WOAH!! I must be missing something here.. 573 Nm average torque ATW!! Damn, my 300kw+ HSV GTS didn't even have that torque and that felt like a torque monster.. someone please explain??

If this is right I'll be getting my MY07 STi tuned with a TBE quick smart!!

Cheers

Give Lane a call.

You know you want to.

Yes it is fun to drive :D :D :D

I hear Verso is cheaper but I really like the service at Race Torque and Lane is very straight up about what he can do, cant do and what he is doing with the tune.

isnt the torque figure just calculated? because they cannot really measure torque without an engine dyno.

definatly a nice amount of it though - should be a good kick, obviously you had it tuned for more torque rather than kw?

The mainline torque figures are usually about 250nm more than other dynos

I just said to lane I wanted it quicker. Not really concerned about the exact KW figure to much.

Can't remember exactly but the DD dyno was around 480 NM derived torque after the first tune and TBE. It was fairly close to the 392 Subaru claimed before so reckon it is not to far wrong.

The before run on the mainline was 596 NM ( don't know how it is measured )

But if the mainline 596 is about = to the DD 480 then it should now have roughly 515 NM at the Fly.

The maths is probably a bit out but considerably better than out of the show room.

Ask for the "Derived Torque" plot.

I really can't be bothered driving out to wangara again just to get a printout when I know the results are good and it goes like a rocket.

For a comparison Lane pulled up Jaron's Graphs. There is only a couple of percent in it up until about 5 thousand revs then his bigger turbo kills mine but below that it wouldn't be enough to notice. Very happy considering how little has been done to it.

If you ask nicely, he might email it to you.

Didn't think of that. Might have to do that Monday if I remember
