Everyone has their 'own' guy for doing stuff - Apart from ASG and stuff like that, my main guy who is a Subaru Pro and involved in Rally Aus and other local motorsports events is Rob Webber/Nigel from Platinum Auto's in Jandakot.

Soon as i get back from NZ i'm taking my car down there for a service.

100K Service:

Good Quality Oil - 10w40 Synthetic
Oil Filter - Subaru WRX/STi OEM
Gearbox Oil
Diff Oil
Spark Plugs - NGK Iridiums/Platinums
Fuel Filter - OEM
Timing Belt - OEM
Tensioners* - Not necessary but inspect and do if required.
Upper Engine Cleaner - OEM
Injector Cleaner - OEM
Air Filter - OEM or Pod cleaner
Cam Seals -OEM
Water Pump - OEM

I did brake pads and brake fluid at the same time also.

That is a decent service, my car felt so nice and tight afterwards

Hey everyone,

I need to have my 100k service done and I want to know where I should take my car. I have read some of the previous posts but there a fair few places that have been mentioned. I am in West Perth so I am looking for somewhere reasonably close. Also, I have an ECUTEK generic tune, will that effect my servicing and would I need to mention that to whoever services the car?

Thanks

Nick

Subaru service in West Perth--
You could try Peter Arnoldi, Eden St. WestPerth close to the HydeParkHotel.
20+ years as a boxer specialist- Subaru, VW. Porsche. etc. A conservative chap who may give you a lecture against modding so would not suite most on this forum. If you can handle that, he does good work.

Just had my 100k service done by Jim of Blue Star and I couldn't be happier. He did a great job at a great price and the convenience of him coming to your house is great. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had my 100K service done also by Jim of Blue Star a couple of weeks ago and am very happy with the service. I had to drop the car at his garage in Wangara, but that was no biggie as I live/work around that area anyway. Great price, will be going back to him in the future.

I highly recommend Cypher Industries in O' Connor. Zac and Gav are awesome blokes and I've seen only quality work come out of there workshop. There usually pretty busy. Let them know Ramzi from Charcoal Chicken sent ya

I have heard that Jim Hall of Blue Star will do the 100k service for sub $900. He is a top notch mechanic and is highly recommended.

Either Blue Star, or ASG, who also do a reputable job... if they ever get time to work on it (blame Tino for that one)
