Major service 100k
 

Hi everyone,

My wrx is coming up for the big service @ 100k. I have spoken to Melville Suby and Xspeed and they have both quoted somewhere around the 1100 mark.

Can anyone recommend who is the best for servicing and what price they ask if there is any difference to the two listed.

Personally, if I were to chose between xspeed or subaru, Id chose Subaru, I wouldnt trust xspeed with my car, not after my friends experience with them.

I paid roughly $1100 for my major service.

Unfortunately this is the price we pay for owning a WRX ;)
Around $1000 sounds about right for the major service.

I paid $1120 for a 100K service including a new water pump (not normally included) from MMS.

Two thumbs up for Jim from Blue Star Mobile Technician... has his own bug eye.. knows what he is doing and will offer a very reasonable price if you mention you are from Perth WRX.. good luck finding ANYWHERE that will do for less than 1k if you plan on having warranty!

Jim is servicing my car on Friday. :D

I leave for Albany on Saturday... so if i make it there.. he did a good job.

More Thumbs up for Jim from Blue Star. Why drop your car off when Jim will come to your house.

He's going to be the cheapest, you can even source your own parts. Timing Belt, Water pump, seals etc.

Give RMS a call... Always seam to beat Subaru pricing by a fair distance. Do an awesome job too. Thats where mine will be going in 5277k's.
