Default mrt power kits

just would like to know if any one has an mrt powerkit, ekutec and so on in one of their cars. Would also like to know if the kit has a
manufacturers warranty ie(subaru). I saw a video where the guy at mrt said the kit had a manafacturers warranty. please explain!!

Hmm maybe if the car came from Subaru Australia and was stamped "Approved" or a special released vehicle variant.

Like anything you mod. The rules are quite simple "you play, you pay". If the "power kit" is found to have caused a fault for what ever reason, i doubt Subaru would want to hit you up a free engine or turbine.

Maybe MRT will give you a warranty on workmanship/install, maybe they will warranty you for an engine.. i don't know... maybe check with Subaru Australia or MRT directly.

But i am pretty sure they will say if you mod it.. its void warranty if something happens to the engine.

Yes. You retain the manufacturers warranty on the kits and Ecutek tunes.

Yes, you can achieve the same or better results at a lower cost but there is no way you get to retain warranty. Depending on your situation the kits may suit you but personally I'd do things my way.

Can you somehow put a my01 ecu onto a my00 so you could get a versotune or ecutek done on your my00?

it can be done with an adaptor loom and if the immobiliser circuit is overcome.

for the price and stuffing around i would have thought it would be better for you to wait for them to sort out Verso on the MY00 or get aftermarket ecu
