Sourcing new brake pads....
I'm sure it has been done beofre but i need help in sourcing (recomendations on type would be nice too) some new brake pads for my '02 STi (Brembo equipped).
I have been thinking of using Ferodo 2500 but when i asked a couple of 'brake people' they tell me they don't make that pad for the front brakes.. only the rears. I'm not keen on spending $550 for pads from subaru (OEM) when i'm sure there are ones that do as good if not better for much less price wise... Help me obi-wan kenobi... your my only hope..... |

I get my ferodo's from RMS in Carlisle. Give them a call 94702444.
I only have a wrx but i'm sure they'll have the brembo pads also. |

What Nauli said.. ^
When I picked up my set of DS 2500's (for front 4-pots on 99 rex) a few weeks back the guy had a set of DS 2500's _for_ Brembos sitting right next to my set! I picked mine up from brake shop out in Kewdale just off Orrong Road, the name has completely escaped me atm but I'm sure someone knows it.. I rang around a fair few places and they were the cheapest by far! |
