hey guys, i have read up the owners manual and even searched the threads about changing the parking globes in a my01 bugeye. I am still clueless! help! ive purchased a set of blue-ie parking lights but im now stuck at installing them. Help...

p.s: a step by step run down will help me heaps...

Yeah, i did the same thing, then realised how much of a bitch they are to change. I ended up playing with some little plastic wheel near the parking globes, but that turned out to be the headlight adjustment.

Pretty sure you've gotta either have really small hands and know what you're doing, or pull the entire headlight out at the same time.

I still haven't put mine in yet ..

Should have bought an STI

You need to remove the headlights....

take head lights out which is only 3 screws and then ull find the globe tucked in there.

Remove the grill.... about 4 clips on the top, and two hidden on the bottom (you can see these from above...may need a longish screw driver to unclip it).

Once its removed, remove the bolt on the inside (behind) the headlight/grill.

Then proceed to remove the two bolts on top of the headlights (near the rad support).

If the light wont come out. Pull harder.

The parker light change in the bugs is a right PITA...as it basically sits behind the headlight and in the front quarter panel.
