Suzuki Swift... ONLY because it wooped a Lambo and god knows how many other nice cars at a motokhana event :P

Otherwise probably a Liberty

I rented a base spec Territory in New Zealand last year, mainly cause it was the cheapest 4WD I could get and I wanted an AWD in case it was snowy.

Bloody impressive car, it doesn't feel like 2 tonnes and it actually handles and steers really nicely. I'd be keen to get one if I had teenage kids, (or a mountain bike)

But, if there was no WRX when I'd bought my WRX I'd have got a 200SX.
Now, I'd probably get a Liberty GT or Evo 9, with the Forester XT, Ford XR6 Mazda MX5 or Mazda 6 (not the turbo, just the front wheel drive) as "possibles" In six months time I'd consider the Civic Type R as well....

VE commo omega (stripped and kitted to SS-V bodykit) and drop a 6L supercharged engine in and go track baby!
