I've got one in the 2nd din slot. Not really needed, but if it has the auto feature you know when the car does need leaving to idle (when the countdown time goes high). I like the other features on my Apexi one like Air/Fuel ratio and battery voltage.

i have one but dont really use it except i leave it on volt so it looks cool =]

drive nicely for a few streets as you get home. well thats it.. hense the reason i never probably use mine.. lol though i shut the engine off via the remote controll after taking key out of ignition each time.
