Default What Have You Broken On Your WRX?

well with all the talk on people breaking their toys, what has everyone broken in their time owning their rexes? i was gonna ask as well to add up total costs of the repairs but that might make a few of us cry haha.

so what have you done since owning?

me i have

1st wrx did a big end bearing, destroyed pistons and rods, required a full engine rebuild. expenisve n lengthy.

few months later, melted a fitting off the fuel pump, caused a blockage, car woudltn start, dont think it was expensive but still a pain forced me off the road for a a day.

2nd wrx
broke a shim on the valve bucket in half, not an expensive part but labour was a killer.

few months later, broke 2nd gear, again expensive and off the road for weeks waiting for ppg gears.

thats all ive done i think, luckily nothing in the half year ive owned this one nothing has gone wrong, hopefully stays that way. To scared to add up the bills from all that.
