I used this manual to remove the resonator chamber from my air intake system last night.

Did you notice any major difference in intake noise or performance?

Performance - not sure, maybe a fraction.

Noise -

Get a nice induction "suction" sound > 4000rpm and the bov is now audible.

Have you fitted any kind of CAI pipe in its place or have you just left the hole into the airbox open?

The hole into the airbox is just left open, which faces into the space where the resonator chamber used to mount. It can still breathe through the hole where stock air intake fed the resonator.

I am getting a Fujita in the next few weeks to replace the stock airbox completely.
