Anyone have the RX65 Radar Detector group buy originator of earlier this years details?

Need to claim a repair under warrranty and need details of purchase place/invoice.

Were they purchased directly from Bell?

it was stituned - chris. dont know his contact tho. and yes, they were purchase in usa, direct from bell (apparently)

They were purcahsed from CellPoint in the US, you will need to send it back to Beltronics in Ohio..

It will also cost your 100 bux in postage too, get em to flash it at the same time

Sorry dude but the group buy didn't go so well.. I ended up 3k out of pocket & didn't get a detector myself.

I'd use the money saved to take it into Neltronics in Subi, should still be ahead hopefully.

Neltronics wont do any servicing for the unit at all, dont even bother.

Neltronics will ask you for invoice, then they will say.. its a grey import send it back to US.

Wasn't aware that happened - sorry to hear. Why was that the case anyway?

Neltronics won't fix anything without a C-tick sticker on it and one of their serial numbers, and to get it fixed under warranty by Beltronics you need to send a copy of the invoice from place of purchase - which I don't have obviously.

I'll pay the postage if that's what it takes to get it fixed, but to send it to the US without an invoice and have Beltronics say "well we can't prove its still in warranty - that'll be $300US odd for a replacement" just isn't worth it.

Can you not see your way clear to please fax me a copy of the invoice?
