polar, can your link do launch control rev limiting while stationary?

bigc: basically you engage the clutch until the car is about to move then pull up the handbrake... as soon as you launch you drop the clutch and the handbrake and off you go. stops the sudden SMACK of normal launches as your drivetrain is already bound up

Off topic but I remember my cousin saying the M5 BMW's do this, sounds awesome to do. He was saying you hold the SMG forward and rev, it limits the engine to a set RPM then you just let go of the stick and BANG, awesome lunch everytime.

Yea and think it is 4 km you must drive between every lauch to reset the system before you can go again ( handy at motorplex ) it also records the number of launches. I think it is 15 till you no longer have a drive train waranty.

Numbers may be a little off but will be close.

Hah sweet, I will ask him if that applies in the U.S or it is just a stupid aus rule

how can you take off with stock clutch etc in 99 wrx with out dammaging box too much wat sort off rev range should i be able to launch at and wat sort techneque??
