MY06 STi Power and Torque Specs Confirmed
 

Hi All

As you may know the Subaru Dealer Principals met last night for the Impreza Launch and we have finally received confirmation on Oz specs for the MY06 Impreza STi. Call a Subaru Dealer to confirm if you wish.

[B]Engine: 2.5lt, 206kw, 392Nm. [/B]

A nice increase in torque which will be fun :D :D :D

New WRX is a 2.5, however specs to be confirmed.

gay. 206 kw how the hell is it 20kw less than the US motor :(
maybe it's tuned for regular unleaded.

probably a zorst and a computer will fix this right up but still...

Yeah the KW should be more... oh well 49 NMs of extra torque, which is awesome!

Maybe it is not 206 KW but "206 KW" like a GTR Skyline?

Anyone know the non sti specs?

what about the internals compared to current STI motor??

Hey Bruce. Time will tell. Subaru Staff have their launch on Monday night, and the Customer launch is on Oct 1. Hopefully Subaru will release it to the Media and all will be revealed. The suspense is killing me!
