leave it at stock boost for now. Turn it up any further, and you'll more than likely hit boost cut at 16psi. Save up. And get a re-tune or new ECU.

If your dead set at turning up the boost. Get a decent electronic boost controller and a boost cut defender. I take no responsibility for your engine. Noobs + Engine Mods generally dont mix.

The best way is to get a decent after market ecu like Link, Autronic or Motec!!

like a few ppl said get aftermarket ecu before you turn up the boost. Ohh and I don't think autometer are very good i had two in my old car and they both read different to each other. Although it is a cheap option DEFI's are not cheap. I just got a boost gauge from a jap STI that goes on the steering column seems fairly accurate and loooks nice and neat

lol... even the foresters run 8psi stock and they have smaller turbo and less aggressive cams... so yes 14 is right..

I think the little fellah is a bit mixed up. He wants to turn his boost up with a boost gauge?

PS, try spelling words properly, this is an internet forum, not a mobile phone

a boost gauge give you a boost reading.. this displays the ammount of pressure you are running at the turbo.. its only a reading and cannot be changed in any way using a gauge...

as for increasing ya boost.. do not touch it with standard management

Multiple bad Spelling and SMS talk should result in a BAN!
