Default Effect of dyno settings

Just having a look at a few others dyno sheets. Jaron's in particular from when he did the 12.5.

Same dyno though different days. I notice on mine (I'm guessing it's the ramp up rate) is 6kph/sec up where as Jaron's is 7kph/sec up.

Ignoring other factors would this bring me closer to Jaron's figures or further behind ( torque & Kw )

Still wondering why the numbers are so far apart but at the strip cars are for all intents and purposes nearly identical.

Also would boost come on quicker if there is more or less load from the dyno???

Not sure about the ramp rates but your numbers aren't really that far apart. Besides you are 0.2s quicker with less INDICATED power. Remember, a dyno is a tuning tool, not the be all end all of power production.

I would also assume boost would come on quicker as (and I'm sure this is your reasoning too) with more load on the engine, more fuel goes in earlier = more exhaust gas going out = turbo spoolage = even more fuel going in = happy time

I'm like to know how things work and why they work.

Favorite website should give me away

Besides which. I really want to make the 200KW atw club. If the ramp up rate makes just 4 KW differance I am there

A run on ASG's hub dyno is on the plans since that seems to be the one everyone is using lately.

Any Idea how much they charge. I figure it is a fair bit more rooting around than a roller dyno so guessing it won't be cheep.
