Rally Deutchland
Just an interesting observation from the latest running of Rally Deutschland.
Only Solberg is left in the factory car. In the top 35 there is only one other subaru. Maybe its days as a super effective group n weapon are coming to an end. Obviously there are some reasons for this. This rally is bitumen so suddenly the lightweight FWD and Super 2000 cars become competitive but still. I thought it was a pretty poor show. http://www.swrt.com/championship/latest_results.html Brendon

atkinson was in for a good 5th position, but yes suffered damage at the start of the last day. He's still listed in some results because the usual system is 5minute penalty ontop of the fastest times for each stage..

Yes he was very fast, but a Spin in Day one basicly ended his Rally. All i can say is Watch Atkinson in New Zealand and Japan, he will be extremly fast! |
