I had the exact same problem on my 07 STi - Is the car idling rough?? go and have a look under the bonnet and see if there's a small hose on top of the engine itself, at the front, which has come off. It's about 3-5mm in diameter and it connects to a 90 degree metal pipe.. I know this sounds vague..PM me and I can help you more if you wish. I think they pop off under full boost. Do you have mods??

You will need to go to a garage to get the CEL cleared.

Cheers
Zombee

The CEL should go off eventually. Have you done anything to the car recently?

Yeah, suppose I should say that I had my mods done and at my first outing on the skidpan the car started to idle rough and then the cruise control started flashing and the CEL came on. It was only a few days later that I noticed the small hose that had come off - as soon as I put the hose back, the car idled fine, but I had to get the CEL cleared, which then made the cruise work fine again. I put tie fasteners on all my hoses after that!

Cheers

Sar, it will be a cat error code...no real issue...just take it to MMS and Steve will re set it and it shouldn't re-occur.
Cruise control light flashes with most CEL errors.
