It's not going to be a rant but quite the opposite. Two thumbs up for Eddie from Melville Subaru centre, rocked up yesterday (without booking anything) with my missing idle problem, explained what i had done (exchanged plugs, leads, tried different coil etc), and what i suspected the problem was...in 20min Eddie found the problem spent some time anwsering my noob questions and after all that didnt charge me anything....didnt even want 6pack of beers. Thought i'd let you know its not always bad stories about the dealerships

4 cables that connect to the coil pack that go into a little connector...well somewhere around there there was a short, or stripped wire which would be touching the mass from time to time...thats what eddie said and tapped it off for now and no probs since so i guess thats what it was
