I rang up subaru and queried this, and they asked for the chassis number, they said it didnt affect mine.

Yeah got mine in post yesterday havnt had the prob occur but have read about it.

Mine has gone off while driving but engine stayed on should I still take it down? plus it goes off all the time too.

I would, if it's included in the recall, you may as well... Especially if ur having troubles with it.
