Yep '01 would be it to date. Comparisons - best i've seen an 01 driven aggressively at the drags would be running 13.9/14.0 (mods turbo back exhaust) - MY00 of same tune 13.4/13.5 - thats straightline of course.......on a track the better handling on a factory GD would make up the difference in outright speed.

Yeh best i could manage with the 01 - with sum pretty agressive/brutal launches/changes was a ~14 flat

Same setup on an 00 would get u a mid 13

Thats alright though, what the 01 lets down in performance, it picks up in looks

does the 06 wrx still come with 5 speed ? ie giving one to adz, could he smash the box with 'all that extra torque'

(before anyone brings it up, yeah i'm confident i could mince an 06 box)

Id say the slowest rex would be the 94. I have beat a few. cars lose kilowatts overtime and the 94 seems abit laggy, I always get them on the launch in my 01.
