Break Pads
Hi, I need to upgrade my MY99 break pads.
Which break pads are decent and how much do they cost, also how much would installation cost? Cheers guys!!! |

Firstly, it's actually spelled as brake.
As for pads, look at Ferodo DS2500 for pads. Call Perth Brake Parts for a price. Easy to install yourself too, there's DIY's out there.

ahhh damn >< didn't realise
i just got back from TAFE so i have an excuse for the lack of brain cells functioning ^^ thankx for the tip though... will look into it... but do you know roughly how much i'll be looking at to spend? coz at the moment i have no idea how much it would cost me, not even a rough figure. |

round $220 a set of pads all depends on what you buy and the quality that you want

I cant imagine it would be more than an hour for the front pads.
Best to call a workshop dude. Where abouts are you located and we can make some suggestions.

try ELIG ... i think they are called ($175 from memory)
I purchased these from tenaga motorsport in Wangara... they do a great job. Low dust compare to Ferodos IMO. They made a hell of a difference in competition, once warm the grip like mad.
